Pladask dropped by town today and Eivind and I got to mess a bit with the prototype programs. Not the most representative clip (because time at zero for the most part, messing with modes and feedback), but it's a clip non the less :

I intend to have a hardware prototype ready for ILFEU. Hopefully we'll be able to shot a video showing some more versatility then :D

I watched Kent's demo and I have zero clue what it is. Pitch shifter controlled by an iPhone? It sounded like a ring mod pitch shift with drum pads.

What is it actually?

We downloaded the first free drum machine app we could find, so it's just Eivind manually playing that through a fuzz into the prototype programs (housed inside a FORM1) with time at zero, mostly.

But what is the actual proto? I guess I don't understand what it is. Maybe I can't read. :)

Reverse delay with three modes (normal, octave up, octave down) on a toggle and a "character" toggle to change up how the signal is processed. Three pots: mix, time and repeats. Time knob has two functions; 0-50% = increase delay time up to 1 second. 50-100% = do granular time stretch from regular speed to freeze. Repeats knob has two functions; 50-0% = Direct feedback (ascending pitch). 50-100% = Looping feedback with stable pitch.
