Also, the longest I've waited for a pedal is 2 years and no, it was not worth the wait and I gave it (them) away for free out of disgust.

Second longest is from Ezhi and Aka (over a year), which I decided to sell all of them and never buy again.

I like Alexey but he took far too long to fulfill my order and I ended up having to compromise on the pedals I ordered for others. It worked out fine, but I'd rather not go through that again. I don't want to bash him either because he's a good dude. If I bought his pedals ever again, it'd have to be through a dealer.

Didn't turn on. This was before I had any knowledge of circuitry at all, which is why I asked her for help fixing it. Ended up selling it dirt cheap to someone with the know-how.

In 2015/2016, people were clamoring for the Infanem Flanger that never materialized. I wanted to see Infanem grow and release new products, but was consistently disappointed. This was the experience I shared at the time.

I've bought 5 Infanem pedals and been disappointed with 4 of them: loose jacks, virtually brand new pedals not passing signal, sloppy & smeared silk screen, and way too much noise in the delay signal. I've sold off all but the last two (SEA & V2 Faye) and both of these are currently out of circulation, until I can get a tech to clean up their issues.

When I purchased my Faye's Her for $520, it came with no box, no cheat sheet, nothing. It was weeks behind schedule and the ink was smeared. It looked like someone had poured whiteout on my pedal. I thought, "Great, $500 spent and it looks like b-stock. If I ever decide to sell it, it's going to be the least desirable one on the used market." I sent Dana a straightforward e-mail stating my concerns, and she just ignored me. If you have no desire to stand behind your products, then why be running a business at all? I like the designs and I appreciate that Dana's ideas are not as conventional as many others in the industry, but she's really lacking in the customer support department.

i feel bad about the whole History of Devi Ever. it doesn't seem like she's ever had the kind of ongoing emotional and mental health support she so clearly needs.

I'd be more sympathetic if it didn't seem like she burns off all those who want to help her on a regular basis.

I have so much sympathy for her. I am (obviously) not defending her actions but she is not well and cannot seem to accept the help she knows she needs. Imagine being in her shoes...

I hope she can find some kind of peace.

She's plunged herself deeper and deeper into a black hole that she most likely not be able to climb out of unless she can see the fallacies of her ways.

It's like watching a drug addict hit rock bottom and never recover. Extremely sad but you cannot help because they simply refuse to admit fully what they are doing or they will not take the proper steps towards true recovery (like you stated).

I also hope she finds peace as well and I always have.

There was a time where Devi was not that bad and just quirky but it's clear she is constantly at battle with herself and it's caused a rocky road for her life.

I honestly don't think she ever recovered from the public call-out William Patrick Corgan unleashed on her over the Silver Rose back in the day. IIRC she went into debt building gear for him and he retaliated with a mountain of transphobic vile all over the Internet, and it was all downhill for her product line after that. I know a few people who have had that sort of public shaming and that shit sticks with you for a very, very, VERY long time.

How does one put Devi/Grace Lynn/Fuzz Goddess' many public blunders on the balancing scales?

1) $40,000 console debacle (claimed to be in hot water with IRS, supposedly donated to charities rather than cover her tax debt or refund buyers)
2) Corgan slapfight
3) 10+ years of public venting over her erratic behavior and terrible customer service
4) reneging on the sale to Dwarfcraft
5) cycle of victimhood and hostility toward customers/trolls/dealers/rickshaw drivers

I honestly don't know. I've never had any desire to work with her, either, least of which being due to her pedals sounding like complete ass on bass. My first exposure to her public life was the Corgan debacle so that's what I always assumed was the tipping point for her. I'm not using that to excuse her behavior - she definitely needs to get her shit together and own up to it rather than play the victim, I just want to know if something set her off or if this is how she's always been. The more I read into her the more the latter seems to be the case.

And I didn't know she backed out of the Dwarfcraft sale and thought that her increase in productivity was due to Aen. What the actual fuck?
