Debauch-a-Reno III: the Sticker Guy! 25th Anniv. Bash!

Post by imJonWain »

I know it's not most people on here's cup of tea music/band wise but anyone else going? The Mummies, Oblivians and the Spits amongest others are playing. It's my birthday weekend so I am treating myself to go.

This seems like a blast. I wish I had the proximity/ability to go to something like this.

I feel like a follow up is needed. The shows were insane, every band was so on it. It was one of the best weekends of my life.

The Oblivians fucking killed it!
During Reigning Sound's encore they brought out Jack Oblivian and did early Compulsive Gamblers songs.
The Spits fucking killed it
King Khan + BBQ played as a surprise twice and kicked ass
the Mummies were insane. I couldn't believe how much energy they still have.
I met Russel Quan in passing and he's just rad, nicest dude ever.
There was a small record show/fair and basically every band who played still has copies of all their awesome/rare/hard to find records for really cheap prices
The Losin' Streaks were the suprise kick ass band of the week, insane live.
Reno is the tits.
I'm Drunk.
