Busycircuits is supposed to be debuting multiple new modules at Superbooth, which continues to look like the most exciting gear event of the year.

Wednesday - EQD's new pedal will be revealed
Thursday - Superbooth kicks off in Berlin

IOS** new reverb for $3.99 http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2018/ ... e-for-ios/

Rumors/speculation**

Many people believe the makers of Syntronik are going to reveal a hardware synth, based on these comments.

“Get ready for a paradigm shift from the leader in analog modeling technology."

“Superbooth 2018 would not be an event at which we’d announce AmpliTube 5."

MacBeth is bringing back the Elements. The E2 replaces the silver chassis with a sleek, black exterior and a host of schematic tweaks. Unfortunately the first version was about $5,000, so I doubt we'll see a price drop.
2 x ENHANCE FUNCTION - 1 control for VCO1 and 1 control for VCO2 ....previously 1 control shared by both.

2 x OSCILLATOR SYNC - VCO3 syncs to VCO2 and now VCO2 syncs to VCO1.

A new SPRING REVERBERATOR circuit has been fitted, a different and more deeper sound than the original Elements.

VCO1, 2 and 3 now have seperate outputs at the rear of the unit, the original unit did not feature this useful modification.

Confirmed** Synth-Werk is releasing 3 new Moog-inspired modules, as well as complete voice systems.

WMD will be showing off Fracture, a new digital VCA, and the Advanced Trigger Sequencer Prototype.

It looks like Mode Machines is relaunching the RP Electronics SEQ12 (2012).

The SyntoNovo PAN was shown last year, but an updated version will be on display. I would venture that this is going to be fairly expensive (>3000 Euros).

Production of the ContinuuMini is going to be funded via a Kickstarter project, which is expected to launch in late summer 2018. Pricing is expected to be US $549 for early backers (with an eventual MSRP of $899 US).

The designers behind Monome are gradually unveiling details for the Norns (named after the Norse gods?). There are a few Vimeo clips on the blog.

He definitely has the mustache to be in a synth battle.

I already have a RKM, but I'd love to grab a Thermae! Pretty sure I saw something about it having 40s of delay

I was all set to pull the trigger on a Thermae... but 500 is a lotttt of money for a pitch shifting delay. Like I'd be selling off three or four pedals to make it happen.

Not trying to say that it's not worth it or whatever, just not to me right now living off of financial aid

Ah Thermae. Wantae. But 5 hundae is crae-crae. N’at, as the Pittsburghers say.

Hoping after the likely flipper spike they’ll drop some $$ and I can ‘verb one. Not in any way implying they are even remotely similar, but me and my wallet are still not over the Infinite Jets experience.

I just keep thinking of how it is sort of like my Super Wizard, which is somewhat similar, and how I just plug in the SW occasionally as a fun little addition to loops. The In Limbo iii was similar for me too. Loved the arp mode, but used it the least. That being said, I can't wait to hear all the bloops that people blip with their Thermaes.

One potential difference I see with the Thermae is that the pedal has such deep tweakability that you can probably make it sound super interesting, even compared to iteself. It turns me off when you hear something and know immediately what pedal was used. I think the Thermae should avoid that more than most.

Joel's stuff seems to be fairly well-supported at launch. Having the pre-order open weeks ahead, certainly helps with bracing for demand. If you go to Reverb now, dozens of dealers have the Condor in-stock. I would imagine even in Europe/Australia, the Thermae should be available a week or two after the US launch.

I'll be waiting for the first holiday sale (or I'll just ping a dealer). Saving $50-75 is no joke.

They've been hinting at future support and new sounds since its unveiling, but I'm surprised to actually see a physical developer board.

Ok! We taking bets on what the new EQD pedal will be? I'm thinking some kind of overdrive or delay.

What do you guys think?

They haven't done modulation in a while, so that's where my bets are.
