I made it about 45 mins in and then shut it off. I was hoping there would be more. It's rated pretty highly too.. don't get it.
Rated? I thought they removed the rating system and now it's a match percentage... You sure your other viewings aren't tanking the algo?
I watch it on my Netflix app on my oldass Wii.. has 5 star system on it.. :idk:

I don't think I mentioned on here, but I tried to watch Game Over Man a couple weeks ago with my gf and it was so, so bad. We went in looking for stupid comedy and it was just fucking terrible. Had to turn it off.

Watched the Nice Guys yesterday; that one was great. I laughed out loud a few times.

I liked Workaholics. It was stupid, but it was entertaining for the most part.

also, The Man From Nowhere is on Netflix! WOOT!

it's weird. it seems like a normal (but good) Korean action flick. but something about it. i just LOVE that movie. it makes me feel good to watch it.

that's mostly because the child in it is adorable.
Awesome movie for sure. Without a doubt, The Man From Nowhere is on my top 20 South Korean Movie list. Love Korean movies. Huge fan.
Here's a list of some of the craziest, over the top, well done movies most people have never herard about (unless you are a huge South Korean movie fan):

nice! there's a few on there i havna watched yet, will check out.

lol. i LOVE Chan Wooooooo PARK. when i was buying loads of blurays, getting all of his stuff got me into a fair bit of Korean Goodness. i like the weirdness of Japanese cinema, but outside Miike Takeshi and Beat Takeshi they rarely excel at.... enjoyable depth? to go along with the Huh That's Different aspect. Korean stuff DOES. good times.

heh. except putting The Host on that list is such a cop out. it's on EVERY freaking list talking about Asian films. and you know, it's pretty good. but. come on.

I wasn't that interested in the Lost In Space remake, until I saw Parker Posey is playing Dr. Smith. Now I kind of want to see it. Even if she's just chewing scenery, she's pretty much always enjoyable to watch even in things that are terrible overall.

Tientsin Mystic on Netflix is very very good. I worry that I might be the only person in America who's watching it though.

This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

I'm one episode into Lost in Space and will probably watch the rest, though it will likely pale in comparison to the original series (which was a childhood favorite when reruns were on the USA network). Also, Legends of Tomorrow is superhero junkfood for the brain.

Ozu's Early Summer is on Prime! Unfortunately, none of his other stuff is. I've been seriously thinking about subscribing to Filmstruck, but I keep reading such bad reviews of its UI and performance, I'm hesitant even though it has like every movie I've ever wanted to watch.

You got me on that one! I have no defense to offer but throw myself on the mercy of the court (in other words, I know I'm f#cked).
I think any movie fan who is into heavy, trippy movies should check out Pieta and The Vengenace Triliogy. Korean madness at it's finest.
