Yeah I can't remember exact values but a bit of tweaking worked wonders.

I put 2 inputs and 2 outputs on a DPDT toggle for mine, but it never really cleans up. I think mine are 10n and 100n inputs.. maybe I'll toss a 105 monolithic on there and see how it cleans up.MechaGodzilla wrote:The 10nF input cap that comes with the kit sounded great with guitar on 10 but cleanup wasn't nice. Upped the input cap to a 1uF and now it's pretty perfect.
I just built a Black Acid and I really dig it the more I fool with it. The separate grit and fuzz knobs is kind of unique and you can dial in slightly fuzzy dirt.. Yeah you know. It's pretty BA

Please explain how you use the 856 for ZELLERSASN. I had one and flipped it because too complicated for my mini-brains.

I too would love to hear how you're using the 856! I never picked one up because it seemed like the kind of pedal where the capabilities are too great to actually get anything done with it haha

I use it to compose loop arrangements, then basically play it like an instrument, moving loop positions, pitch, and timing to create different patterns. It's fun to get something going, then store it in the ditto, and then make another arrangement in the 856, repeat, repeat.

That D+ is suuuuper versatile. I hoped the EQD Gray Channel would give me the same thing but as a 2-in-1 but it was a bit too full-on. Too much gain, too much volume. Still sounds really nice but not a match for my old D+.
