So I wired up the arpegiator pin on this as well, so I'll have a CV in jack, and I think.. I can use my Polypus Supreme to run the arpegiator.. that should be fun. The drone section works, I hadn't wired in the momentary section yet, but the drone works so it'll work. Drone is fun you can dial in a super low motor boat and then play robot fart orchestra over it

Yeah man it sounds pretty farty. I really dig it. It's always a pain in the ass to play with an unboxed effect.. upside down.. with no knobs.. so I'm looking forward to getting it boxed up.

I thought it sounded pretty cool. I couldn't really wrap my head around what these were supposed to sound like before, because every clip I could just was essentially just 15 layers of ambient noise, but I can see the potential for really cool QOTSA style riffing or something with this, with some added layer of cosmic robotic digestive emissions.

There's a couple good explanation videos out there, I plan on making one once I box it up and figure it out myself - and hopefully come up with an actual microphone technique. The drone and momentary features are cool but really I probably won't use them much. It's fun while you're drunk though. I'm definitely excited about the CV in for a sequencer. I have plans for a Vanishing point 2.0, 8 step sequencer which I may build at some point. That's kind of fun functionality.

It does make a pretty nice square wave fuzz too without blips and squees.. but I got lots of square waves lying around.

The plan is to drill the housing tomorrow and then paint it hot pink and get it labeled, then maybe Sunday I'll get the arpegiator hooked up and see if the sequencer on Polypus runs it. It should. It has a CV out.. I don't know anything about this stuff at this point. Just starting to learn about CV's and what kind of stuff you can do with it..

Well I labeled it and clear coated it.. It's in the oven curing..

Going to try to get all the stuff into it today. Only a little more wiring to do, not sure how to ground the C.V. jack..

Finished the wiring on my Meatball clone. Taylor's board, eBay enclosure. It turned out pretty good. If anyone is thinking if making one, I recommend the NE5532 opamp despite the documentation requiring a LM1458. Mine sounded like dog shit with the 1458, and it really came alive once I swapped to the NE5532. That all being said, I also rolled my own vactrols using GL5528 photocells and 5mm green diffused LEDs. It has fantastic response and sounds like the videos to my ear.
