I kind of want to replace my set of EMG 707s, but every other covered pickup is like $500 au a set. Open bobbin pups would look like ass on the guitar so for the sake of vain aesthetics I probably would keep em.
Though, those Fishman Stef Carpenters have a fucking rad Tron style. Can't find em anywhere though.

Gonna try out some D'Addario NYXLs, knowing me I'll snap it while tuning.

I want to get a set of white Ionizers for my RG7620.. they sound so good. I don't like Active pickups either.
I want to look into the Lace X/death bars for the 8 string.
Playing around with my new amp and it's still sounds pretty okay. I'm usually playing in my room at a relatively low volume so pups shouldn't be my priotity. lol

Sounds right to me.
Though if it's leaning in the bluegrass/jig/hoe down realm I'd suggest slowing down the playback and pitching it up before the verb. Conversely, the ol' hippie singer/songwriter on a stool with a guitar subset might do with a simple bit of speeding up before the verb.

Sort of...this album isn't dream pop but Tyrannosaurus Rex's 'Unicorn' is a great example of a 'folk' album with lots of reverb. I guess it kind of becomes proto-prog (obviously T. Rex did not become that).

Although that said 'grunge' + 'reverb' does 100% equal dream pop. Citing DEERHUNTER as my primary example and well as WEED's - Deserve.

Does anyone use those Boss half racks? I really want to make a 3u rack full of them with the power supply and get an ES5 or something to control it. It seems like that would be a rad synth rig for droney stuff.
I used to be a real delay junkie but I've been without one other than the ct5 for over a year. Now I just want one that is fairly simple and sounds great and I keep it
