HEY LOOK FREE MUSIC

Post by sevenSHARPnine »

Now that I have your attention (sucker), check out some tunes from me.

Me and my buddy Kyle recorded some jams in my garage a few weeks ago. 100% pure improvisation. I'm pretty happy with them, this track in particular. If you guys care, the whole set (4 tracks) is available online. I'm pretty sure they're all downloadable.

Tracks 1 & 3 feature me on guitar, and on 2 & 4 I'm drumming.

Please let me know what you guys think!

Oh and feel free to ask about any guitar-related sounds because we were playing through my pedalboard :p

This is why I love impromptu jams, you get some great stuff out of them. Really good stuff overall, though I thought the guitar was weak on the first track when it was clean (might have just been the micing though). Nice to see that you and your friend were able to do both drums and guitar.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Current ILF Love: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM, Mellowtone Melx Fuzz 2, EQD Dream Crusher, Devi Ever ID, Dr. Scientist Proto-Miniberator - new vids eventually

Yeah, unfortunately my current method of recording doesn't allow me any post-production options, so I can't adjust the mix of the mics after recording cause it all goes in as one signal. And the guitar on the first one was WAY low

Overall, I'm alot more satisfied with the stuff I drummed on. I guess I just wasn't feeling very creative with a guitar that day :idk:

Thanks Nych!
