When I'm up between 1-2am, my mouth fills with saliva almost faster than I can swallow it. I can feel it shooting out of my salivary glands and just have to gulp, gulp, gulp until it subsides. Been this way since I was 10.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Use it as a litmus test for determining who's worthy to enter your music dungeon. If you can't figure out this DS-1, you're not getting in.

So, Al Cisneros can jam then?

(I'm taking this opportunity to point out that evwn a DS1 can sound good in the right hands.)

I think I'm going through another depressive period. Or it could be an anxiety episode ramping up over startig this new job soon.
Nothing is good enough and i feel dissatisfied with everything.
Mind you, theres part of me that feels like a lot of this shit I'm getting all antsy about has slid for too long and its time to clean up shop, but I don't want to be an asshole right now.

Right there with ya.

Also I don't like dirty amps. It makes me feel like I wasted money on dirt pedals. I want a loud clean solid state amp.

YES. It's so weird for me.
Like, a solid dirty amp sounds great, but something about a clean amp just feels comfortable.
Also, you don't have to replace transistors every few months/years/ever. :poke:

Goodness...I agree. When I see demos for an amp and someone says the onboard distortion isn't good, I immediately think "oh thank goodness". I don't have the money or space for like five different amp heads sitting in my space. Find it way easier to rationalize pedals. Especially stuff modeled after famous heads (LWA).

"Whatever ASSHOLE here’s my pedal that makes humpback whale noises and also it has a built in sequencer so stick it in your craw! -retinal orbita
"Patty Mullen takes me from a ball peen to a sledge" -The Great Velvet Hammer
"...at this exact moment Divine has learned of your jealous scheme from the local town gossip. She also has your address, ASS HOLE!" -Narrator (Mr. J) PINK FLAMINGOS

I witnessed two teenage girls chasing a baby bird down the sidewalk and wanted to scold them, but I didn't. :idk:
