Pretty much all of it. It's all fun. But things with sag/bias/starve/stability controls are my favorite. I don't have the ears to discern types of circuits or gain structures, so for me it's 'cold,' 'warm,' 'hot.' The texture is the thing that makes me take notice, since gain and tone stacks are too subtle for me.

"Why" - I grew up around boats and did landscaping for years so maybe the sounds of motors always stuck with me?
Maybe it's an extra sensory thing where I see cool shapes while listening to textured sounds?
