Has anyone used the 2HP Turing Machine? Curious as to how scaled back the features are to fit in the small space. Interested because I'm horrible at DIY and am working with limited space, so as long as it'd still be a nicely functioning piece of kit at that size, it'd be a win win.

Last week I used Rings as an audio effect but I multed the v/oct signal for both the VCO feeding Rings and for Rings, it sounded really good, especially in stereo odd/even.

I need some good drum one shot sample packs, need some mono and some stereo. Anyone point me in the right direction? Looking for mostly drum machine and/or acoustic sounds, mostly just classic stuff for now.

Not really classic stuff, but I use a lot of one shots and loops from https://samplified.us/ fucked up (or modified) by the ER-301.

Rainmaker firmware updated, but it was a pain in the ass that took me all day and crashed the first computer I tried it on with every attempt. Think I might wait a bit for Plonk now.
Black Cloud Terrarium ordered, now begins the hellish 4 week wait. Next order will be from here: http://noisereap.com/product-category/assembled/
...and it's looking like a 3 module order. RPG, ISD Sampler, and Crossfade. Can't wait to hear how the ISD degrades the Wogglebug oscillators. It's also going to look cool amidst black & gold makenoise modules...and the knobs give me filthy metasonix ideas.
Steps looks like a good way to decentralize from Pressure Points sequencing too, but I like my PP.

Currently listening to iKaossilator into Trshmstr into Dplr - this is a pretty epic little 3 piece. No need to sync the tempo to the modular since it can simply be matched up, which brings that natural/imperfect/dequantized feel to the whole mix. Nice musical loops and more traditional synth sounds, with the modulated BBD magic. Good blinkensync too. :success:

lol. so. today is EXACTLY 4 weeks since i ordered my Black E352, emailed just to check in and was told.... there were 37 people ahead of me, would be another 2.5 - 3 weeks before mines went out. so. PATIENCE YOUNG CUTIE. PATIENCE.

also, tone is so hard to tell in email/texting some times. he sounded a bit KEEP YOUR PANTS ON I'M BUSY, but mebbe i misread/that wasna intended.

also also, EVERY module should have a black panel version.

also also also, the Livestock Bang sounds GOOD. WANT. but. like. in plain silver or back. cool he's going for a THEME, but i don't like green and that totes doesn't fit my layout pattern.

AESTHETICS BITCHES.

If it's Paul Schreiber from MOTM then yes, it was probably intended :).

I'm looking for a Just Friends maybe, or a RYO Paths... or something like that. My osc section right now is pretty wicked all around (uBraids, NLC CEM3340, Mangrove, Akemie's Castle).

So I got this Rainmaker on a trade for my Stillson Hammer. And I’ve updated a Shapeshifter on Mac and been through all the pain. So I wasn’t excited. But then I realized, I still had the virtual Windows machine installed on my Mac! The whole update was a breeze *except* to my horror, my virtual machine started installing ALL these updates and rebooting itself and all this crap. So god damn annoying. I was like no, you’re not real, you’re virtual!

Also I really like the Rainmaker and I haven’t really even fussed with the comb side yet. I was looking for a DLD but I think I’m going to stand firm with the Rainmaker and learn it instead.

lol. i had to look up MOTM.

yessuh. Paul Schreiber. is he known as a surly cactus?

it.... WAS a little off-putting. not super rude, and i really like SynTech stuff so..... whatever.

but when someone drops almost $500 on a module and politely inquires after the stated ship time has been reached.... why not be nice?

odd bodkins.

Rainmaker looks soooo goooood. but MAN that is a LARGE MODULE.

also, love the Troika, but want to try different voiced oscs in it's place. so if anyone wants one, have it listed at $350.
