This is a great price on one of the most versatile trems around. It can do things that the Diamond and Empress can't duplicate.

The SW was $245 OBO (shipped) and I think it got the first offer in 5-10 minutes.

I have never had anyone bring up any kinda political BS during a clist interaction. I don't understand what that would have to do with selling an amp. Plus who wants to buy a solid state amp that has been sitting in an attic for decades.resincum wrote: ".. if you are some liberal communist who supports the communists/democrat party, then don't contact me at all. .."

Ampeg V7 for $200
"Amp is in great condition and turns on but it needs a new set of power tubes."
Anybody ever played one of these? I'd never heard of a V7 but I kinda want it.

Unless it's just a coincidence that the same knob tip is missing, that's my old amp lol.gnomethrone wrote:

Re: The headsup sweet shit on ebay thread....
It was kind of my starter pedal platform amp. I got it in Santa Cruz about 14 years ago for probably close to that price or maybe a little more, but with fresh tubes. It sounded cool with a Muff in front of it, but after playing for 30+ minutes it would start to get really saggy and squishy sounding at high volume. I ended up replacing it with a Sound City B120, which served me well for many years. It's a decent amp, not that common to come by, but not really a holy grail. I remember hearing some people at the time I bought it saying it was the poor man's Model T, but I don't think that's very true but it is a 6550 powered amp with that kind of thicker, chewy sounding breakup when cranked. It's definitely worth $200 + a retube if it's in good working condition, hard to say if it's worth having, depending on your tastes. It does ok for stoner rock type jams with a pedal or two. I never could figure out what was causing the issues I had with mine, because they were pretty subtle.gnomethrone wrote:oh shiiit lol. Why'd you get rid of it? $200 is real tempting.
I never used all the switches and stuff, it always struck me as having way too many controls for what it was.

Hmm. Thanks for the info. If its still for sale this weekend I might go for it. If anybody else wants it for their ampeg completetist collection, hit me up.

Aesthetically not to my tastes with the Silverburst + EMG thing, but this is a great deal for a high quality NOS US-made guitar: http://www.ebay.com/itm/152711358514
And this is an even crazier deal for a used one with case: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Gadow/ ... 2838901.gc
