If you'd watched the video, then you'd know the answer, which is obviously yes.tremolo3 wrote:Do they also come with all the talent Kurt Cobain had?actualidiot wrote:Albini is selling three mics used on In Utero, whatever that is

Why would you stick three microphones up your uterus, let alone use them?

I'm pretty sure I read a couple months ago that Steve Albini was putting his stuff on eBay at inflated prices just to see if dipshits would actually pay it.
Glad to see he has Reverb's support.

I like Reverb as a website overall, but this pretty much sums up the direction their celebrity shops concept has veered into.friendship wrote:inflated prices just to see if dipshits would actually pay it.

I mean it's whatever. The Celebrity gets paid, Reverb gets paid, a customer gets a magical token that makes them feel good. Everybody wins I guess. This particular celebrity shop is just a little funny to me because Steve Albini almost definitely thinks you're a dumbass for paying extra for this shit, and Kurt Cobain would probably have felt the same way.Corey Y wrote:I like Reverb as a website overall, but this pretty much sums up the direction their celebrity shops concept has veered into.friendship wrote:inflated prices just to see if dipshits would actually pay it.

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
I back Albini 100% on this for any reason he chooses to have or express.
In my own whatever gear news, I figured out how to have my cake and eat it too, re: digital delay. Gave it up for reasons, but have been missing the sounds of my Nova Delay. Realized I have 2 more inputs on my amp so I can split my signal with this Empress buffer/splitter that was collecting dust, running the 2nd line out into a volume pedal, then a stereo delay at full wet, then to the amp independent of my main pedal chain. Now I'm gonna keep a probably revolving selection of stereo digital delays on top of my amp, and be able to fade them in and out with the volume pedal without altering the clean feed to the head. Psyched.

Digital delays are all obsolete in the presence of a delay with an effects loop and a Bitquest.
