Pickguards

Postby BitchPudding » Mon Sep 25, 2017 1:58 pm

So I'm trying to find a pickguard for my pink telecaster. Ideally I want to get one thats seafoam pink like the guitar is. But im open to suggestions.

So far ive been looking at these as alternatives.

Lemme know if y'all can help. Ill try and post pics of the guitar later, imgur is being a shit. :grumpy:

I really dig vintage mint green with pink guitars.

Something else that might be cool is making your own out of resin, I've been fooling around with making one for my jag the past week. I need to get some different tints because the ones I used turned my resin into rubber but its kind of cool the possibilities you can come up with this way...design your own color palette or designs, painting techniques, etc

If you want a pick guard the same color as the guitar all you need to do is get a clear plexiglass one and paint the underside. This is how Gretsch and 60s/70s rickenbacker pickguards are made.
