I often find that I justify my own decisions to myself, whether internally or out loud, as if I need to prove to myself why a certian decision or judgement is valid.

In Germany we call a pizza with ham and pineapple "Pizza Hawaii". It is very popular in our country and - at least where I live - nothing to be ashamed for.

Another traditional German meal is "Toast Hawaii": Toasted toast, a bit butter on it, ham, a ring of pineapple and Gouda cheese on top - and straight into the oven for a few minutes. Our kids love it. Hey, there's an English wikipedia article about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toast_Hawaii
