A subtle distinction that I do get.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

i see where you were going comesect. you made a good point. there are no poor races, there are just poor people fighting a class of bougouis that prefers homogenity (white, male, and christian).

it's the reason i wake up angry every morning. knowing that there are "human" animals out there going to houston for their 10 minutes of fame. instead of helping those in danger. and this is the case after every natural disaster and act of violence perpetrated against peaceful civilians.

I brought up semiotics at work. Not just as an aside at the water cooler, but to explain work things. It's probably a sign to switch careers ASAP.

I'm getting custody of my son after the weekend. That's pretty rad. But I thought his mom would still be around on weekends and stuff when I needed some help but NOPE. She's moving Monday. 500 miles away. Thanks for the help!

So I'm going to do what I can and hope for the best but I'm a little concerned since I have 18 bucks in my wallet.

NB, hit the hell out of every social benefit/welfare program you can. We might think "single moms" but discriminating by the sex of the parent is unfuckingconstitutional, so keep your eyes open. Even if you're not religious, churches tend to have good support frameworks for families. Unitarian Universalists are probably most tolerable for atheists and agnostics needing that sort of help.
