breadboarded a RAT clone for a friend the other day, having never played a RAT before, and boy am I into it. I modded it up, changing the filter for a James tone stack w a mid boost & adding an input bias control.
I totally see what the hype is w RATs now.

idk what it is today, but the hum coming from my amps is driving me nuts... I basically leave them on all time.

The feeling when you pick your amps up from getting repaired is so great. Stereo Plexi/V4 is sick.
Also borrowed an electric 12 string from a coworker today and that into both is incredible. Give me some weird open tunings to put this thing in.

Apparently the 40th anniversary Boss OD-1, SP-1 and PH-1 reissues are limited to 1500 units only available in a collectors' box for... $899.
Boss, go fuck yourselves. I found TWO OD-1s at guitar center last month for $150 each. That's almost money to buy ALL THREE of the 500 series pedals.

You don't really need a reason to erect a black pyramid on top of your speakers, but this guy had one.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Why do they even make amps without spring reverb? I just want a combo with a 12" and reverb. That's it.

I have to confess I'm proud as hell of that fact

I put in my notice with my current job and apparently their policy is to pay you for the paid time off you've acrued over the year? If so, I'm going to get started with visual synthesis MUCH sooner than anticipated
