I will say right now I'm content. Not happy or excited, but content.

My mother in law did NOT have a stroke like they initially thought. It's something like what happened to my own mother last year. She had all the symptoms of a stoke, but it was a stress shut down. So, it's still very serious as she needs to figure out how to get that under control (as we all do). In light of all the drama that's been happening though, I'm grateful that she's not going to die and she is out of the woods right now.

So all in all, even though I feel like I was run over by a truck, pretty ok-ish day.

:joy: That's great to hear, jwar.
I mean, it's not great, but it's better than a stroke and all the complications that can come with a stroke.
Hang in there, bud.

I got a job. My wife hates it because it is at the nursing school and she doesn't want me within 100 yards of other women, but it is a killer opportunity. I am 1099 to start but if the university picks me up in 6 months, I will have a really cushy job. Surviving the next couple of weeks on zero money is a challenge but I have been poor before.

Ate so many grapes I had to sit on the floor outside and take some deep breaths to prevent vomiting. Fucking love grapes.

Them red grapes that look a bit frosty, super firm and a bit sour.
Damn good grapes.

Yeah some white grapes that I'm saving for a fruit salad tomorrow. They're not as good so they get thrown into the rest of the fruit to absorb that watermelon/lemon juice.

I haven't been super active on here lately because life's been going well (ergo, I spend less time focusing on buying random pedals/synths). In the last three weeks I got a clean bill of health, and I got a great job offer! Those were my two largest sources of anxiety for the last three years.

So, for the first time in a while I feel like I live somewhere. Like, I know I'm not moving away, so, I feel like I can make friends here now.

If you live in/near Portland OR, hit me up if you wanna jam/hang out.
