Here's the "manual", hard copy will accompany units shipped:

At my current rate of speed I probably won't cough up tracking numbers until this afternoon.

Everyone who waited out the pre-order got a free upgrade to the three switch configuration.

Awesome! The ring modes and waveshaping have me intrigued.

I say waveshaping, but all that really means is clipping in this instance (not wavefolding or other neat tricks). The two carrier controls are somewhat interactive, but for the most part at 10 o-clock the oscillator is running clean, at 12-1 it gets a bit more toothy and typically at around 3 it goes apeshit (that is to say, the oscillator also motorboats LFO style, but this is a sensitive balance point between carrier and frequency and range).

Also, Chank, I think I might have inverted the diode config on yours - but that switch is somewhat experimental and sometimes subtle effect anyway. Follow your ears!

I totally get you on the waveshaping (and understood from the picture haha....filters and preamps shape too). I look at it as like adding and subtracting harmonics. The clipping introduces more, the filter is there to cut out some, and then feedback. In the ring mod realm, I think that layout will be very useful to control some of the weird, weak harmonic occurrences that happen sometimes and a good way to keep things in balance when inserting (if the carrier stays around the same amplitude). Seems deep. I like it.

Serge had a clipping stage listed as part of the triple wave shaper. Doepfer calls a clipping stage waveshaper too...so the terminology is all good haha.

And Chankgeez, try to split the signal to both inputs for a rusty purple ringer?

I wondered what happened to that fancy surface mount board.

Really wish Scott would make straight up ridiculous ring mod. I think I'm gonna bite the bullet on a Moog because I want something with some nice parameters and have need for fuzz/gated ring mod.

is this a thread for any ring modulators because baby just got his first one. It's an MF Ring. It sounds great with synth and lap steel and guitar so far. I've played with some digital/software ring mods but this is my first pedal. It makes me wish I had a drum machine so I could try it with some more atonal sources.

Yes this's not only a thread for any old ring mods, but ring molds as well:

Those molds ask way too much of the cook to separate their yolks and distribute the whites like that.
