Just recorded a drone track for a song with my modular, without even listening to the song because drones, and it's actually in tune and the lfo syncs up perfectly to the beat.

This record I'm making insanely slowly is so full of drones it's weird, I've never been that into droning before in a rock/pop song context before but this is so much fun.

I don't ride during winter as well, and currently can't commute without actually driving. But the weather is getting nicer and nicer and I need to give my mofo

Had the finest Sunday in a long while.

Pineapple, banana and fresh bread breakfast. Long shower. Editing the podcast we recorded with Eivind. Quick lunch. 2 hours long walk listening to JA, Ophobe and IM bantering. Long conversation with best friend. Chilling while watching Jurassic Park. Cooking a buttload of tomato and basil pasta to the sound of Plaid and Mogwai, Tindering while stirring. Doing some yoga. Eating some of that delicious pasta. Rolling quads. Chilling on bed reading the ILF and watching the Breakfast Club again.

DAMN FINE DAY.

just dug out an old Yamaha keyboard for my daughter, now shes playin the organ, and now that im hearing it/playing with it, its a shame its been collecting dust for so many years. her first try out was "sweet sweet nightingale" off key and priceless .

band completed it's 4th song today. shortest, clocking in between 4-5 minutes. but we've got enough music to fill a set. now to land a show, write vocal patterns/lyrics and memorize them. a bit daunting but feeling fucking great.

After a few years away to focus on life and setting some stuff straight, I've been granted the opportunity to return to this hellish place.
Excited to be able continue where I left off, but at a much more stable point in life.

Also... when reaching out to those affected by that rash of shipping mishaps, their understanding reminded me what this place is about.
So, thank you Tom, PP, Fever, and Mick for being genuinely good people.
