Apparently this is their last album before retiring, information is contradicting. Still, this is the best single they've put out in years.

As much as I love them, I hope they finally quit. But I see them collaborating with other artists til their die, specially Atsuo, being the next Jim O'Rourke.

Re: New Boris - Dear
From what I've heard, they were considering quitting because they felt like they had done all they could as Boris. But after touring Pink, it sort of revitalized them to keep making new material with the result being "Dear".
As long as they're not just going through machine motions then I'm all for it. Certianly sounds like they still got it. Could definately see them doing other projects outside of Boris tho once it does eventually run its course, but its great to see them still going at it after all this time.

Absolutego > Smile is one of the most unimpeachable runs ever, IMO.

That song was awesome!
Hopefully they will tour and actually do the concert in my city this time instead of getting sick. Bah.

Song is fairly alright if not the best, should be decent seeing them at a festival this summer.

Last time I saw them was the 2013 Flood "Residency" tour, pretty underwhelming. I'm glad they might be heading back in the right direction but may be time to call it a day.

Re: New Boris - Dear
Are they worth seeing live still? I am on the fence about seeing them on this tour, tickets are cheap enough here.

I enjoyed the last time I saw them, but that has as much to do with shooting the shit with d.o.s as it did with Boris.imJonWain wrote:Are they worth seeing live still? I am on the fence about seeing them on this tour, tickets are cheap enough here.
