Oscillating fuzz dojo - The Atrocity Exhibition

Thanks, dude! Yeah, it was fun coming back to the FF after having fucked around with so many other crazy fuzzes these past months. A finale of sorts.

That made me really want a fuzz factory....

Just wondering - how do oscillating fuzzes work? Is it as simple as the guitar and a fixed pitch oscillator are sent into the fuzz at the same time? Is the oscillation made from feedback? Does the guitar pitch affect the oscillator pitch? Just curious.
The osc on my copilot fx molecule v2 sometimes bleeds a little if i'm not playing any notes and seems to always be super high pitched, changing only slightly with the tuning knob.

I think some have an internal oscillator, but most just have the option to feed back into them self, creating self-oscillation? I wouldn't really know, though.

Oh yes, here it is, as promised. A pretty raw and gainy fuzz with an expanded muff filter and other neat controls. Loads of sounds in this thing, these are just the ones I find the most fun.

I kinda wished they had built in a bit of a boost whenever you kicked on the Dream section of the circuit though. Sort of has (at least in the demo) quite a bit of volume drop.
