Thanks, buddy! Yeah, you've really just got to sit down and mess with them for a long, long time. I still get surprised.

I liked it! And yes, I stand by the GB24. Those ringmody, noisewashed, broken toanz helps it not sound too sterile/shimmery, IMO. They both sound snazzy, though.

I was going to say. GB24 is cool and has a lot of character, but if you adjust the low-pass on the CT5 you'll have slightly less textured GB24 without all the hissing, longer delay time, quantization and two extra modes. GB24 is like a cult classic short movie that got a fully fledged remake that all the fans of the original like to hate on.

In the demo, the CT5 is set up vanilla. No filter adjustment or nuffin'.

What now what now bout a filter? I can't sort through the massive thread in the Shark Tank...I have the older two toggle version from 2015. There's a filter somewhere?

I don't think the 2-toggle versions have the filter option. If I remember correctly, pressing down the momentary switch on the 2-toggle version and turning the DIR1 knob changes the quantization, whereas on the 3-toggle version that combo lets you control the cutoff of a filter while you can toggle through the quantization with the Q-toggle.

Ah! Thanks. Yes, can confirm that that's how I adjust quantization.

Haha, I'm not hating the CT5, I just don't need or want the extra features. It is an awesome pedal for sure, probably better for most people's needs. But for me, it kinda looks like this:

Yeah I guess I'm officially a corksniffer... fuck... can't believe I'm actually going to use this word, but GB24 has got that mojo, you know?? I say that as someone who still has their ct5, who got a GB24 planning to try it and flip it, but now can't part with it. GB24 4lyfe
