Into a matrix mixer. Spend your gig money on condoms because you gotta be safe when you're reenacting the chase scene from A Hard Days Night with the hot asian chicks who appear out of the ether for Merzbow shows.
edit: $380? Damn.

Re: KNOBS - Elektron // Analog Drive
Saving for its big brother (Analog Heat) atm, not convinced this one sounds great though. Maybe this kind of thing just doesn't translate too well to guitar? I want the AH for my studio set up, kinda hoping it will, along with my incoming Pretty Years, quell my Current Vulture GAS. The extra features make the AH seem like a mad piece of gear.

Re: KNOBS - Elektron // Analog Drive
I was just about to type this after reading DoS's post then saw that you'd beaten me to the punch. I think it may just not sound awesome on guitar. Synth stuff, on the other hand--I think that would probably rule. And yes, the Heat is really what catches my eye/ears, but it ain't cheap.Ev_O))) wrote:Saving for its big brother (Analog Heat) atm, not convinced this one sounds great though. I also wonder about Knobs' signal chain. Always sounds cool, but I think it's way different than my approach, which is admittedly a lot more conventional. Hence the comment on wanting to try out the AD myself.

Aren't ODs quite gear-dependent? If yall think it sounds a bit tinny/trashy, he may have just paired the wrong amp with it. The sounds I heard on Elektron's website were all good. I'd wait until we hear a few more demos first before jumping to conclusions.

I'm surprised you haven't done a new video for the current version of the ct5.

I don't have it and I didn't even know how much it had developed until I was getting drinks with Scott.
But yeah, definitely worthy of another demo at this point.
Mine is broken, so maybe I trade old broken CT5 for new functioning CT5?
This is a deal.

Oh no, not a new CT5 video
I'm happy with my original CT5 and don't need gas to upgrade!

Wowza. I had been looking at the Disaster Transport (Jr? The one with two foot switches) to become my new delay, but this is very impressive. I never knew what it was capable of until this video, and it looks perfect!
I admittedly glossed over the DTsr because I just assumed it was two delays in one box and it's not particularly cheap, but now I understand! This and a a new CT5 should make my board happy in 2017. Yes.
