Dirt cheap Caracol. Cray that this is going so cheap, even with an updated version out there. Not really an isolated thing, either.

Good for the savvy consumer, though.

SIGNED BY THE MAN HIMSELF!The pedal is signed by Ty Segall. The inner portion of the pedal backplate is signed by Oliver Ackerman (A Place to Bury Strangers, Death By Audio) and Matt Conboy (DBA), and numbered #87![]()
What a surprise. A pedal built by Oliver Ackermann would be signed by Oliver Ackermann.
the reverb reviews of the vanguard are savage.
Heh. Yep, I read those. But I can't say I agree with either of the two negative reviewers. I've heard no noise in the Vanguard (powered by a Zuma) that would have a negative effect on recording or live usage. Mine works well, and I've had zero issues with it. It's really quite thick, glossy, and gives you a nice bed of sweetly-coated sounds for sweeps and soundscapes.odontophobia wrote:the reverb reviews of the vanguard are savage.
I guess I'd give this a D-, if I was grading his freshman poetry course work, and felt like being generous (or to avoid teaching him a 2nd time).I dislike this pedal. I don't know why. I regret buying it. Does anyone else want it. Why is it here. Only because I listened to that one Tame Impala song while staring into the depths of my ever growing board and thought, "Maybe a phaser."
