Your First Fuzz?

Post by Houdini116 »

Just curious as to what some of your guy's first fuzzes were. My very first one was a Boss Fz-2 I scored off ebay for real cheap, I was obsessed with Electric Wizard back then (still am). I still have it, although I don't use it as often, the 2nd mode does a nice thick-bassy superfuzz sort of sound, and the clean boost kicks a lot of ass, never really found any use for mode 1.

So...What was your first fuzz? Or what were your first couple of fuzzes?

I know, I know, but that thread seems more like a "What got you into fuzz" sort of thing.

I've had that pedal for like 15 years... no way is it going anywhere..

And now the zen of fuzz.

And one of these is coming:

Hooray for a history of fuzz!
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

If you'd consider this a "Fuzzstortion", then it was my first "fuzz" pedal:

The next "fuzz" I got was one of these:

I think the first pedal that really met my expectations on what a "FUZZZZZZ" sounds like was this, though:

I was initially unimpressed with it, but I grew to love it... I should get one again!

I think that's like an eternity of bad luck :idk:

You should probably give it to me.

I guess I'll show my timeline of fuzz as well:
