Which in turn reminded me that, along with he dimes, Dean make a pretty rad flying V, which I've gassed on for a while.
But they also make these https://reverb.com/au/item/2391909-dean ... ilia-burst
And that is pretty kick arse.
Never had I thought Dean guitars were so cool until I watched the dude from Inter Arma just ripping shit up on one. Band is so sick.
Yes. Yes they are.
Thread needs more shredders.
WWPD?

Any experience with Hondo guitars? There's a 12 string electric on eBay for a decent price and I'm interested. I'm not expecting high quality but ok enough for cheap? Or would I be better off saving more to buy a more legit guitar? (Or not buying any more guitars right now lol)
Hondo is SX for guitars right? Conventional wisdom is something like: If you're willing to set it up and mod it it can be a fun platform but if you don't want to do that saving for a real guitar is best.
Yeah I figured it was that sort of thing. At a different point in my life (settled in a house with a workshop etc) I'll be all about the modding and DIY but for now it's so much easier to buy stuff that works as is..
Played a couple Gibson 2016 LP Studios and was really impressed, they don't weigh the same as a bag of potato chips and sound pretty big - which is all I want from a LP. Might get one of those instead of an SG.
Curious about the Elements—I know they get a ton of love around here, and like all Ryan's stuff I'm sure deservedly so. I'm looking for a higher gain pedal since I sold a couple that weren't so useful to me. Do y'all use the Elements for all kinds of ranges, or mainly heavy? Also, looks like with all the knobbies n switches, it's highly tweakable.
Plus dat gold one w the Marshall knobs

I love and miss the elements both on heavy and light gain modes. But I'm pretty sure most people go for the heavy mode.

Cool man, that's what I thought. I've been GASing for one for a while, just haven't gotten a chance to get my hands on one to try in person. Seems like his stuff doesn't stay in shops for long.
