BLACK METAL THREAD

Haha, fuck Varg but alright, listen to Burzum. I don't, but last time rehearsing we fell into a jam almost kinda similar to "Sverddans", except more stoned and we're not nazi troll breeders.

I like black metal but mostly the punk/crusty kind. Dungeon Synth sounds intriguing in theory, but possibly also super boring and sad. Then again you could probs slap that label on some of the stuff we record on late night sessions.

Also just listened to the new Darkthrone and it's pretty ssweet. Fenriz mentioned at the end that it was mastered at Enormous Door in Texas, and I was wondering is that related to the ED that makes the pedals (SCUD, JINN)?
Or does the mastering studio predate the other, I think so.

Circa 2009-2011 or so, ran the Tumblr Conversion 2.0, which was about my own conversion to Judaism. When I moved up north, I had to put the whole thing on hold; conversion to Judaism requires proximity to a Jewish community, and there's definitely not one in the Arctic. I was pretty active on the Tumblr Jewish community for a while. I also ran a Facebook group called "Zionists" but it was for liberal zionists who are also proponents of a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
