Wow the Kompakt Kassette is fantastic at mangling those synth sounds... I think I'll go looking for a guitar demo of this now. Thanks for posting.

It's really quite the incredible pedal, nothing like it that ive come across. Highly recommend checking out all of his offerings if you're not familiar, his stuff is next level.

Re: UG demos Seppuku FX Dynamic Echo Modulator

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

Heya, here is a listen to the awesome Seppuku FX Dynamic Echo Modulator with a Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrax bass organ. Got the Tetrax stereo out into a Montreal Assembly fewtility one into the Seppuku. Bottom right green button is the wet/dry, and I've got it 100% wet throughout. Pretty incredible responses in about every setting, playing the Tetrax's barres is a great match for this pedal

Hey hey hey, here is a listen to the wonderful Sonic Crayon Anti-Nautilus v1. First up is the patch I made on a Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrax, bottom left knob on AN is the wet/dry and I start out with it full wet. Pretty great pedal.
:joy:

well that didn't work...back to reloading it all over again

Well that sounds like a mutant fax machine slowly running out of toner in the most elegantly decayed way it can... thanks :)

Yes thanks, I always look out for demos of his creations, I'd just missed this one. I built myself two Octave Drones that I modified to have an extra knob to control additional levels of damage to the signal... when they are plugged into each other the sounds fades in and out of silence into cacophonous roars and occasional fragments of guitar (sometimes, if you ask nicely). The real deals are beyond my budget alas, but hopefully more layouts of his pedals will appear in future (or I'll suddenly become a lot better at building pedals and I'll figure out how he makes those sounds myself!)

Its pretty incredible the sounds you can get out of the Tetrax, really liked the pairing with the AN.

:yay: Two octave drone would be the best, its a favorite for sure. You should post some clips...love to hear those in action :thumb:

Re: UG demos Sonic Crayon Anti-Nautilus with Karimba

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

Hey now, so here is different listen to the Sonic Crayon Anti-Nautilus v1 with a Karimba. Tried to go through the full range of all the knobs and toggles and features, except for the pre/post gain and sensitivity knob for reasons. Maybe left the mix knob close to or at full wet the whole time too. Love this thing

I'll try to do something this weekend - I'll get my son to play something while I adjust the controls (or vice versa). If we're really lucky we'll pick up French radio stations too :)
