Today was a day of rediscovery. First was the Algal Bloom, which I tried out to make sure it was still working for when I was gonna sell it. Now I realized I liked it more than almost any other fuzz I had. I've been jamming with it all day, just the AB into an El Cap and it's been amazingly fun.

Second thing I rediscovered was the kompact kassette-ish sounds on the memory loss. Sooo nice textures for single lines. Resulted in a loop and an instagram video https://www.instagram.com/p/BDO7SKargKs/

Spent a little time last night getting as many sounds out of the Doppelgänger as I could. Needs a little TLC but sounds great

Just got this Shbobo Shnth and was surprised to find it came with a patch loaded. Its set up as stereo outputs with completely different stuff going left/right from the press and release....i think haha? The black/white buttons might be doing something to pitch but can't really tell? and I still can't figure out how to properly tare the antenna on the back but there is something going on with it too but havn't really figured out exactly what haha. The built in mic doesn't seem to be active in this patch, or at least it didn't record my voice anyways?

this clip is of the press patch in mono, then the release patch in mono.

this clip shows the two together in stereo. With one patch, I think press, panned hard and release panned hard to the other channel. at least i think that's what's going on. for all i know both patches might have a press/release signal and they are just panned hard to one channel? it seems like you can pretty much program it do be doing anything so i dunno. Pretty cool though :!!!:

it the pic you can see how the barre's are cut away where the piezo are attached so that it can flex. I'm just in love with how expressive playing these instruments is.

Sneaky!

Really nice Pepe! How's the limiter working with the ripplet? I'd imagine it makes it a bit more controllable...

Also, UG...that shtnth looks fun!

Yeah, lucky lordgalvar! I bought it for him and as last time with the LAL45 I'm allowed to do a demo with it. :!!!:

You're right, the LM-2 makes the Ripplet more controllable. This way it doesn't drift into the "no tremolo territory" that quickly. It's funny to put an envelope filter after it.

That was the same idea I kinda had for the memory losses (and done by UC)...I just used my guitar volume more though. Did stuff similar to that with the rattle crow (just used a compressed or env fuzz) to control the res and sweep...and it probably uses the same sens circuit or something similar (as does the sandstorm, tone axe, and probably the gomorrah).

Going to do another comp video between the 45 and 46...46 is great too man. 45 is a little more vintage and punk rock I guess...little more open. 46 probably has more gain and a heavier sound.
