Would have, if I knew it existed. Also my work's blocked youtube so that thread's just a wall of white boxes.

Also to keep this on topic, the Freemasons invented stretch piano tuning.

I tuned one of my guitars to 432Hz because of this thread. Not sure if I hear that much of a difference, but it plays well and sounds good - as it did in 440Hz. :idk:

Jaguar is tuned to 432hz in C standard, and I can feel the difference in tension, but it's not too noticeable as far as sound goes imo. Could be fooling myself, but when it's in 440, it becomes a bit more strenuous for my wrist, which isn't good. I dunno tho.

Also, I've always wanted to find one of these people that believes in this bullshit, play some of my noisier, more abrasive riffs at them, and see what they think when I tell them that I tuned using their magic frequency.

I started tuning to 432hz for my noise dance punk stuff. I feel cooler, and more moody now.

So when you do 432, you need a whole band to do it right? I can't see convincing another guitarist and bassist to drop 8c, but I might be willing to tune my bass VI (when that neck comes in! :love ) to this for a two piece.

Lower frequencies sound GOOD.

Also, I have a theory that when you play harmonies with the same pitch intervals transposed lower, you get a different interaction between the overtones. This would explain why "dissonant" intervals sound less dissonant at higher frequencies. It could also explain why people like us think that things sound better when you tune lower.

I also think that most people have a rudimentary pitch memory. We may not all have perfect pitch, it's going to pleasantly play with our expectations when something sounds slightly unusual.
