CT5, where in your chain?

Post by gae86 »

Just got it in the mail. Starting experimenting with it. So where do you have it in your chain?
Last like a looper? in between something? etc etc

Near the end, right before my ditto x2.
When I had the boss ps6, I'd place it afterwards so when I'd loop on the CT5 I could pitch bend the loop

I'm a mangler of loops, so when I had it on my pedalboard it was first in the chain. Now it's on my tabletop, right after my Volca Beats. Drum machine + CT5 = YUSS!

I place it after distortion, amidst my arsenal of modulation pedals. I have a chorus/vibrato before it because it creates a cool effect with the speed of the loop/feedback l, but before my other mod pedals so I can add variations to the output.

I used to put it after my always on dirt pedals and before my on/off dirt when I used it with string instruments.

Same here, after mini, rm-1n and LS-2 (with iPad) and before mods, delay and reverb and after all my tuner cause I have to tune my drones...

I run it after initial dirt/fuzz and gb24, but before the fuck and ditto. 50/50 between delay before or after it though, both have their benefits.
