Young people don't have money.
I'm 24, I'm just irresponsible.
Also, I've been working full time in music for like 4 years now, so I can sorta justify the expense.
I cannot believe you are 24. I'm gonna be 24 in two months and between your job and your gear I assumed you were in you 30s. Not to offend, just seems like people my age only have cool jobs when they get a degree and find a cool startup headed by trust-funders.
Also you're the best dude ever.

Live like me. Flip everything. Romanticize nothing. Accomplish nothing.
Uh ... never? I'm notoriously bad att selling stuff, it's really only if I need the room or the money, otherwise I'd rather just keep stuff on my shelves. I hate the whole selling process and dealing with tire kickers, low ballers and the like.
Spend the extra dollars and get a digital dimension. You won't regret it.
I scored mine cheap years ago and I refuse to let it go.
And I fucking hate chorus.
Fuck it.
That thing is going back on my board.
Super rad bonus points: it is candy shell pink, with a very subtle sparkle.
WWPD?

Case-by-case. I try to give things a full 2 weeks so I can try to figure out how they can work for me if it isn't immediately obvious, inspiring.
Some gear is just voiced all wrong to play harmoniously with other "keeper" gear in an existing setup
Other times there's a steep learning curve, counter-intuitive interface, controls etc...or simply a case of "not my preference"
I also have pricy taste and limited resources so I cant afford to have $300 tied up in something I'm not using...unless it's appreciating by the day.

Nope, just weathered like I am from overworking to get/keep said job.
