Space Quest 3 was my favorite, I could complete it by memory after a bit. SQ4 had some tough timing parts, don't recall ever beating that one.

I wish Sierra still made games like that.

It's riiiiiiiiiiiiight up my alley and I haven't played it.

I'm about six hours in now, and I'm really enjoying myself. The whole philosophical aspect of the story, which I didn't expect to be there, is pretty interesting. It might not be revolutionary, but so far the writers have definitely pulled it off. I recommend checking it out, especially if you're into sci-fi horror with a twist of Bioshock and Alien. Good stuff!

I think that i've finally found a good mechanical keyboard that doesn't look gross and gamery. Just a nice simple looking, tenkeyless keyboard with mx browns and no stupid lights or symbols. :!!!:

It's certainly on my list, apparently there's a PC mod that strips out the enemies so it's all story.

It is very good. If you are looking for a five or six hour narrative game, I would highly recommend it.
Gone Home-esque, but more linear and with great voice-acting.

Even though I'm definitely what you'd call a "core gamer", I'm quite casual when it comes to shooters. I used to play Quake 3 at work ages ago but that's it. Also, I'm really neutral when about Star Wars.

So, this being said, I really like Battlefront so far. I got it to play with a few friends on PS4 (apparently the userbase is much bigger than on other platforms, btw) and even though I just played with random people until now, the game's quite fun. Except for maps where you get sniped by people in ships/fighters all the time.

I'm finding myself in a total Gamecube phase again.

It's my favourite console for some reason.

Imo, gamecube got it all right. At least for me. Great single player titles, and also awesome 4 player splitscreen. The controllers were so comfy but sadly a few of them crapped out on me.

I wish I could crack mine out but i'm pretty sure it's broken and i haven't owned a TV in yonks.
It's my favourite console too, a large part of that is definitely nostalgia cos it's the only thing i played for half of my childhood but i still think the controllers are better than the playstation/xbox ones of the time, and it had some awesome exclusives. IMO graphically most of the games have aged pretty well so far, too, which is odd for Nintendo.

Get a HDMI adaptor and hook it upto your PC Monitor. :thumb:

Resident Evil, Metroid and Twin Snakes - it's all I ever want.

I went looking into Gone Home after your comment. Turns out I already own it. Must have gotten it in a Humble Bundle. Really, really enjoying it so far so I guess I'll have to pick up Firewatch and any other similar games.

Also played through Year Walk earlier tonight, which was short, but amazing. Dealt with creepy Swedish folklore in a cryptic and mysterious way. I must have also picked it up in a Humble Bundle; I need to go through my games and find any others gems that are hiding.
