Haha, thank you! I actually shot the whole thing twice because the first time I forgot to change the settings so that they would correspond to the settings I used then I recorded the audio.

Yeah 100%. I owned an MC for a while and you nailed it. This thing seems to be everything I wanted it to be.

Hey Filipe! Thank you for watching and commenting! As I've stated before, this video was far more influenced by Pladask Elektrisk (stop motion) and iRerror's (reference heavy commentary) demos than Knobs (at least on a conscious level), but I do see where you're coming from, as I do other who have stated the same thing. Sometimes I just want to do something other than filming the pedal, you know? I don't feel like I need to be bound to any form of style when it comes to making demos as I'm simply doing this because I enjoy showing people these pedals, especially those from small builders who might not get the attention they rightfully deserve. Sometimes I'll talk in the demos, sometimes I'll use text instead. Sometimes that text tries to be witty, other times informative, or both. Or have no text whatsoever. Sometimes I'll use mascots or props, other times not. Sometimes I'll mike up, other times I'll record using the microphone on the camera, or even record straight into DAW. Sometimes I won't even show the pedals (like in the Audioslime/Seppuku or Cooper FX Generation Loss videos) etc. For me it's all about doing what I feel like on that particular day or what feels right for the pedal in mind, rather than following some formula. Me and Scott (Knobs) talk demos and even worked together when making our Industrialectric 4046-M demos. Of course, Scott's demos are very influential to me, as they should be, but it goes both ways (see my Echo Degrader demo's comment section as an example). In the end, I want to have fun making demos, and fun for me is not your typical youtube pedal demos. As much as Scott has revolutionized the gear demo market (keep in mind, my mascot demos predate Knobs' demos all together, but he truly popularized the formula with witty commentary and great production), I do not think he has (or wishes to) trademark fun and experimentation with form or style. I will keep your comment in mind as I do wish for my viewers to chime in and influence my demos, but I would also like to express my vision and intent so as to not be misunderstood or misinterpreted. So thank you very much again for your contructive criticism, I will try my best to incorporate it into my upcoming demos.

^ What D.o.S said. I get that you took the time though, as it has come up in the past, which might be annoying. But honestly, though there are likeness in a lot of demos, it's kinda weird saying something is plagiarizing (or close to). I mean, if you had taken the whole formula including opening tune, yeah, maybe. Why does the guy care anyways? A good demo is a good demo. Like, Star Wars is obviously inspired by Kurosawa, but I don't see that as a problem at all. We all build on each others ideas and learn from each other. Nothing exists in a vacuum.

No that was a great response. Not being a dick or unreasonable at all. My demos suck ass compared to yours and knobs but i know i'd be using props and text if i had never seen any other video like it. It's just the way my mind works and what i find interesting and fun to do. Anything remotely similar will now always be compared to biting Knobs style whether it is or not. To me, it doesn't matter, it's evolution of a tired demo game. Knobs does what he does and does it amazingly well. There will be many similar demos to come from various people i'm sure and just like when you like a certain artist or style of music, you try to emulate that but make it your own. As long as it's not a straight copy of something else then I think it's for the greater good of demos everywhere.
