Shitty that timing didn't allow us to get together and drone, but congrats! It's a little scary now but you'll be all good soon. I felt the same way, but having left home to exeperience the world was the best thing I ever did in my life. Drive safe!kbit wrote:I have all my shit packed in a truck to move tomorrow. I'm alone and cramming the last bits and pieces into the car.
This is the first time I've felt scared about this move. Ive wanted it for a long time and it's actually happening. I kind of feel inadequate and optimistic at the same time. I don't know how to describe this deeper at the moment, but there's a lot swimming around in my brain.
At least I was able to slide this giant painting I love on top of everything. It did not look like it was going to fit and I was all bummed but it's a bit relieving that I'll have it. I'm looking forward to just staring at it for a while when I get settled tomorrow.
Ramble ramble not much to say. I shouldn't have listened to Godspeed while finishing my packing

Thanks man. I hope so. I'm feeling pretty anxious right now but there's a lot I have to do to get settled, so I'll just have to get used to it for now.

Just found out my dad had a heart attack and had a pacemaker fitted. We don't really get on too well anymore, but I really hope he is going to be ok.

Selfish yuppie pricks can shut down neighborhoods and inconvenience/ruin the days of hundreds of people for a marathon.
I hated runners before this, but I never realized how utterly reprehensible a marathon is when it impacts people who are just trying to go about their day.

My wife and I are 99% sure she got roofied last night at the bar. That is some scary shit. It messed her up so bad last night and she got out of bed for maybe an hour today.
And some scumbag fuck is walking around today with no consequences.

Holy shit, that's scary. Glad you were there to keep her safe! The word "roofies" always make me think of this guy.

Undoubtedly. I wasn't trying to make light of the situation. People that do that sort of thing should be fucking murdered.

Oh I know! I can joke about it because she's fine.UglyCasanova wrote:

Unfortunately, our new lady friend shared a drink with my wife and her night was totally ruined too. And nobody exchanged numbers so we can't find her to see if she's okay and see if she wants to come hang out.
Fortunately, my wife is an internet sleuth so hopefully we can find her. Apart from all the making out, my wife got along really well with her in a friendly way too, and we're shut-ins so it would be nice for her to have a friend to hang out with.

Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread
I have all these balls in the air...
My sister still has 4 of my guitars, including one I've had for almost 20 years and my beloved Reverend. She also has an amplifier. No replies to my messages, just silence. She has several thousand dollars worth of my Lego sets, as well.
A user from here traded me a guitar, but he has not shipped it. After two weeks of silence, he told me he was shipping it a week ago. No update since. This is the base for my girlfriend's Christmas gift, her first electric, but I can't move forward until I know what is going on.
A pedal I bought off of eBay should have been here days ago. I'm less anxious about this one, but it still annoys me.
I sent the second most valuable pedal I own in to get repaired and ordered a custom pedal from the same builder. No replies for a month. $500 up in the air with no communication.
The only offers I get on Reverb are beyond insulting. $68 for a $105 pedal AND demanding free overnight shipping to Canada? Suck my dick.

The only thing I look forward to each year. This art show that I do where I sell a vast amount of paintings and pretty much funds all my gear buying for all year... yea might get rained out. Very disappointing. hoping the next 3 days it just pours and be all rained out by sat.
I like to keep myself busy:
