The tonal recall sounds way too good for its own good.

Hopefully mine will look like that soon, except with midi, and MKI's instead of MKII's. because I haven't upgraded yet.

For what it's worth, I was in a similar thread to this on TGP where I asked if it was possible to ramp the tone knob. While it's not one of the parameters that is available for ramping via the dip switches, I mentioned that I'd have very little/no use for ramping the modulation depth (I just like shallow modulation depth on my repeats if at all) and Joel said that it may/should be possible to program a pedal for me that, when mod depth is selected for ramping, it ramps the tone instead.
First of all, how awesome is it that Joel is willing to do that for one of his customers? I never had any regrets about purchasing any of the 3 Chase Bliss pedals I own, but his level of customer service makes me even more happy any time I interact with him.
Second, tone ramping on delay repeats has to be the most boner inducing idea I've ever heard of - well besides being able to ramp the time. Just imagine it - set the delay up to slowly ramp the tone so that your delay slowly goes from murky to super bright, and then back and forth for eternity. OH THE BONERS

Related, I started using XFer's LFOTool and midi to making more custom ramping. Things can get pretty crazy. I'm hoping that the tone knob on the Tonal Recall will be midi controllable, because I definitely want modulation ramping on mine.
And yes, Joel has the best customer service.
