I forgot how annoyingly brutal the Battle Arena is in FF7. My Ribbon accessory broke, got beserked than had to face a Malboro that's cast Bad Breath on me.

Picked up Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. After hating Black Flag and Unity, Syndicate finally feels like an AC game.
The more aggressive combat and tweaked controls took some getting used to, but I'm enjoying a lot.
The interplay between the twins is actually pretty funny, at times.

Dungeon of the Endless has been my jam lately. Cross between a rogue-like and a tower defense game. So goddamn addicting.

They're doing SUCH good games those guys. Endless Legend is a spectacular strategy game, thoroughly recommend you pick it up on the Steam sale if you haven't.

Now I just made it onto Disk 3 finally so i've started Chocobo breeding. Then the sinking feeling of realizing that you have two male A rank Green and Blue chocobos...
I'm just glad the PS4 version has that x3 speed option or I wouldn't have bothered doing everything all over again. But in all honesty, FFVII is a brilliant game and people like to slag it off for some reason. The graphics are honestly such a non issue to me now, it has everything else that I want. Six is a great game and I'm likely to go back to finishing my last playthrough on my Vita after this.
Anyone also looking forward to Resident Evil: Zero HD?

No idea why anybody would talk shit on FFVII. Game is glorious.
Reading your posts keep enticing me to make a run at the playthrough. I only have a PS3 so I don't have the added x3 speed. Eeeeeek.

Totally agree. I even dig Endless Space (dat brand unity), which is one of their less well received games. Its a kind of slick, streamlined, very pretty 4X space strategy game in the vein of Masters of Orion, Galactic Civilizations, etc.

Been playing Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes with my GF over skype since she's on the other side of the country. So stressful, so much fun.

Nice, don't know how legit this actually is but it's nice to see the Vita get more love. I think it's the coolest system, right behind PC.

Will definitely check out Endless Space eventually. I'm partial to fantasy though, space ships don't get me off like evil insect people and swords do.

nice to see more indies getting on board.
that list is a bit convoluted as most of the japanese ones came out last year and at least a few of the localizations will probably fall through. There's a fairly consistent stream of good games coming out for it though.
very hyped for danganronpa V3 and zero escape 3 but if they dub the International releases i will be very mad. The danganronpa UDG dub made me wanna throw my vita at the wall constantly.

Re: The Video Game thread
People are bitching about the price of the Oculus Rift, no shit. Being an early adopter means forking out the cash for bragging rights.
Decided that I need to replay XCOM: EU then maybe the expansion. I think that i'm a bit of a late bloomer in terms of having hype for XCOM 2
