Cliff Notes for the entire EHX Memory Man line?

I played a 3 knob Stereo Memory Man tonight (with the delay/chorus switch). I was impressed with how musical it sounded, could create tons of atmosphere, fine-tunable, and could sit back in a mix or get out in front easily (via knob twiddlin'). So now I want to learn about DMM, and have to catch up on 30 (40?) years of back story. Anybody got a link to a comprehensive overview, with pros and cons of various models?

How do the recent reissues compare with vintage units? One thing I liked about the 3 knob unit was how simple it was. I don't think I need tap tempo, sub-divide capability, etc (maybe I do?) Seems like the feature-rich TT550 units are only $30 more expensive than the simpler XO reissues? School me on the DMM, or if there's an online resource, let me know. The different big box DMM's and new TT550 units are the best sounding ones in my opinion, the rest I would avoid, especially the XO.

XO is great. I used to use an 80s big box, sold it, missed it, got an XO, 100% satisfied.
If its a 30 dollar difference though, TT550 may be the way to go.
