Broken record time, but the barber i keep going on about is really good for that and it's not really an expensive option either. I got mine for 60€.

I finally had some time to myself and I tried my Holowon Tape Soup out, and it's freaking cool. Does normal pitch vibrato gloriously but goes crazy pretty quickly. It really sounds like a fucked up tape thing (basing only on fucked up cassettes though) and I love the feeling randomness. Really happy with it and goosekevin really hit the spot with this one. Actually, it did my preferred sounds from the warped vinyl quite greatly, so when I decide to go for a pitchfactor or a timeline or something I can flip the WV for quite a lot of more monies and get it

I want something I can leave at the end of the chain that is mostly transparent but adds some grit and sparkle.

I just added my Unpleasant Surprise at the end of my chain for grit and... um... mostly destruction. But some grit.

Barbershop is the answer though dude. Canadian dollar isn't worth anything right now. Hit it.

Man, ive been debating a barbershop modele b for a while too. No choice but always on.

I just got an unpleasant surprise the other day and I fucking love it. I put it after my other dirt and can go from sputtery on its own, to a thick roar, to that crazy broken octave fuzz/bees noise.

Such a cool unit!! When I first tried it, I got a bit confused with the knobs on it and thought it only did super cray stuff, but after a little messing around I realized how perfect the controls on it were. So versatile and yet so simple
