So, I have a Bowie tribute band.
We are booking a Station to Station album show.
I'm the noisemaker in the band.
My question is:
The train sound that opens Station to Station, any ideas on what kind of pedals with a guitar can approximate it?
I'm open to drone machines as well.

Damn that's tight.
Yesterday I got asked to play bass in a Bowie tribute band.
I'm so excited!

Re: Seeking expert advice
I have an analog delay that I self-oscillate that I've been experimenting with.
I've also fed that into the sound on sound from my dd20 and it's pretty awesome.
I guess I'm open to anyone's wild ideas

If you guys do anything from the early seventies, you're in for a workout. Trevor Boulder was no slouch!!!!ThurberMingus wrote:Damn that's tight.
