Interesting, thx for the info.skullservant wrote:Matt Hall from Obstructures and dude from Millimetric have talked in the past. I've talked to Florian a few times and I know that they wanted to collab and do some hybrid models with aluminum necks and wood bodies but I dont know if anything came from it. I know Matt thought the Millimetric stuff was cool though

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Okay, got two things here. One is a completely stock Kramer DMZ 3000 that I got as a personal "welcome to Canada" present. Thanks me. Would like to change the pickups because they're just not great for me, and I'm mildly temped to make a phantom-esque body to swap over just for "fun".
Second is my interpretation on what the Jagstang should have been. The Shitcaster. It's a maple body, 24.5" maple/rosewood neck (with an impressive crack down the headstock which looks a lot sketchier than it actually is, when it starts to have an effect, I'll consider making another neck but for now....). It's painted like shit and sealed like shit, hence the name. Since then I have been finishing furniture for a living and should be a lot better at that stuff now! The table it's on is one of mine, and that isn't quite as shitty.
For live, the Kramer is used for the heavier songs and the Shitcaster, surprisingly, for the less heavy songs.
Sorry for the poor quality pictures, I am just not good at that...

I like you Olin, we have similar tastes in guitars.
Some fine looking instruments you've got there.

ADH body with vintage neck. There is a gibson dirty finger under the pick guard, 16k to balance with the bridge. Sounds pretty good

Plenty of noise, little discernible skill or talent

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Thanks guys, I'm really thinking of doing a Phantom body for the Kramer, so you let me know if that's a terrible idea so I can completely ignore you and disappoint everyone. Also especially DRodriguez, I tried hunting down your guitars but couldn't find em because that's a lot of posts to fish through and... no excuse that's just a lot of posts!

If you insist. I love these babies way too much and will take any opportunity to repost them. Warning for massive dump.Olin wrote:Also especially DRodriguez, I tried hunting down your guitars but couldn't find em because that's a lot of posts to fish through and... no excuse that's just a lot of posts!
The Dirge trio:

My most played guitar, Dirge Telemaster.

Dirge Janky Strat. Plays horribly in a wonderful way.

Dirge Strat, Loud and beefy as hell. My second most played guitar.

Only guitar I've ever owned new. Signed by Gary Clark Jr. and by Britt Daniel (Spoon)

KramerHartke aluminum necked bass(needs some fretwork)

Pickups are too muddy for me, need to do some work on it. But it's so damn pretty and reminds me of my first guitar ever.

Newest addition to the family. In for repairs and soon to have new screaming loud pickups. Signed by Saint Motel.

12-string warlock project in progress (on hiatus while I fix a structural problem).

I may have a problem.
