The first time I gave it a go, it was really full on, hit me really hard.
I was stone cold sober and I had to have a coffe to straighten me out afterwards.
Today was ok, I just got a real intense nicotine bump.
Like two or three smokes at once worth without the awful side effects.
I only smoke when I'm drunk, so it's pretty intense for me.
I think it might actually be alright when I'm drinking but we'll wait and see.

I think loose leaf would be way too steep a curve for a beginner.

While I was putting all the presents from one now to the other I noticed the customs dudes not only peeked into the cigars but they also unwrapped one of the presents so I said screw it and opened it up: the mother of cool utility pedals: a Dwarfcraft Paraloop, baby!

After a first look of puzzlement, I mean it has six jacks on each side and one knob, I was getting more and more into the mindset of the thing. My buddy Matthew was over and we were freaking out about how many options are in this thing! It might not be the most hands down exciting pedal of all times at first glance, because, well, it's an utility pedal. BUT it is exactly what I need and wanted for ILFSS. And it can do so much more!
Ins and outs routing with a crapton of options.
Parallel loop for fx.
There should be a way to wire it up for feedback looping.
Apparently it can also be used as a clean blend. I think I know how that works.

Anyway, I can't wait to go crazy with this! I almost didn't go to last nights Christmas party because I really want to make a mess of wires with it in my practice space! I will have to hold out until tomorrow. But I will spend the whole day doing nothing else.
Stuff I am looking forward to: using this to fuck about with the stereo capabilities of the Timeline. Trying to make it a feedback loop and putting shit in there. Parallel reverb. Parallel dirt. Bi-amping. My original intention of getting my third bridge guitar to sound just right.

So I already feel spoiled and excited, but there are three more presents plus an awesome card that says "Read me last". Today is the day all the children get presents in Germany, so I will open them with the family under the Christmas tree. I will be just as excited as my six-year-old daughter, maybe even more!
