Thanks for the reference lordgalvar but I'm just a guitar tech and a bit of an amp nerd. I have a local amp builder that I'm going to have build a low power Orange OR type amp for my bench when I've got the money.

Cant speak highly enough about Science either.

You all know some cool guitar companies I've never heard of. I'll have to keep these in mind.

:idk: I left the Ufomammut show in wonder, so they can't be that bad.

I knew it was a bad idea for me to pop my head in on an amp thread, since most of the shit I enjoy is NLA. Back to the previously scheduled wisdom.

The joke there being that Hovercraft's notorious for disguising/underemphasizing that they're modded amps with hype driven by marketing, tolex, and fonts.

Also that thread has some quality Midnight Amp content when you reread it.

Another vote for Nelson from me, I absolutely love my Attache.

Bobby is a delight to deal with, and I bet he'd be willing to give you a deal considering how great your demos are.

Aha, thanks for the insight! I owe you a beer. Slight departure from the "recycled" angle I was seeing..

Not that I'm keyed in to buy any amps, might wind up building a few down the road, but that's fully not on the table right now.

I've always thought of myself this way.

Ego bruised, but not really.

I love Vincey!

Nelson's guitars are great, my only gripe is that none of them have a trem (well, except a couple bigsby but i don't like the bigz). Otherwise, for a neck-through-body guitar the price is good and the sound is great.
I have had a couple of Bilt guitars and they are incredible, albeit expensive.
It seems pretty difficult to find a budget-friendly small-business guitar.

As for Science amps, I've had my shiv for almost a year now and still no GAS for other amps... and Alex is always a pleasure to deal with!
