Nice demo! 2:00 onwards is really cool!

How do you like your DPM-2 so far? And how is it in comparison to your Digitizer?

sweeeeet. thanks for making that. definitely a pretty different circuit from mine, although it seems to have some similarities like the fuzz/noisey background textures and i heard it doing that thing where it will just kinda pop and stop all the built up repeats/noise. i forgot your's had that button on the side :joy: very interested in hearing what rhys has to say about the current model...your's is the most recent example we have so it would make sense that's what he's building now, but then again your's is laid out horizontal and has 5 knobs and a button?? New one only has 4 knobs and the older graphic?? yeah I want one like your's for sure :yay:

Indeed. I found a lot of settings to make it sound like yours, although still different. Brighter, or more chippery, as I like to say. I've been bad at experimenting with settings with this pedal. Especially cranking the glitch+boost knobs (which is done a lot in this demo) seemed to make a world of difference. I've been foolish enought to not roll these knobs much past noon, simply because they make the pedal so much louder. Too much set and forget before this demo. So, shame on me.

NO MORE! :joy:

And thanks, you guys. I love posting my demos on ILF. On other forums it's basically a thread that I top with a new demo. No comments, no nothing. At least say it sounds terrible, haha. You guys = the best.

Oh, shit. Forgot to reply to that.

In my opinion, they don't sound much alike. I mean, I could probably have guessed that they're based on the same circuit/use the same chip (or whatever. I'm technically impaired), but it's like the Digitizer takes over where the DPM-2 stops. The DPM-2 less expreme, more musically "useful". I found one similar setting (that I don't recall at the moment, but will try to include in the demo when I make it) where it made it sound something like this (at 0:55) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aK8O9TVJmes . But if was not as prominent, more like under a layer of f0zz. There's also some ring modish sounds in there, which the Digitizer also is capable of, but they sound different. DMP-2 is warmer and fuller sounding...less digital...? In all honesty though, I haven't played with it much yet. Partly because I don't have time and partly because I usually like to make demos of pedals when I don't really know them all that well. Makes it more fun to explore rather than just show of "the best settings"...if that makes sense

I really like your playing and demos, but the main thing you've done for me with this one is reassuring I don't really want to try Seppuku  :idk:

U wut m8? Why? It's one of the best sounding pedals I've ever heard. I'm very disappointed in you, mister.

Thanks for the nice comment on my playing though.
