Epic New Carbon Fibre Baritone Guitar Day - XOX Handle

Post by Kayzer »

EDIT DEMO VIDEO:

I picked up my Handle from XOX Audio Tools yesterday. It’s the Billytone Model designed in cooperation with Billy Sheehan so you might already guess it’s a Baritone Guitar.
The Scale length is 26.5 and the factory setup is tuned to low B.

It’s a pleasure to deal with the guys from XOX, they made a pickup swap (Air Zone instead of the super distortion as neck pickup) and they also built in a second toggle switch to split between Humbucker and Single Coils sounds without any additional charge! On top of this they were also ultra fast completing and shipping out my Handle…

The tonal possibilities are endless! The guitar sounds like nothing else I ve ever laid my hands on. The Sound is beyond thick, huge and rich and the low end is incredible! Especially on the neck pickup the Handle is close to sound like a Piano, whats a total blast when you are into looping and stuff like this! The Handle was intune straight out of the box and even extremer techniques like holding the neck tight and pushing the body a back to obtain a sweet vibrato works out extremely well without the slightest touch of getting out of tune! Beside the cleans and classic tunes this axe can handle also more extreme styles ala Death Metal and other brutal stuff very well! I wasn’t expecting that it s working out that cool for such styles! Chords stay very clear and once again I have to say that the attack of this guitar can get ultra aggressive and straight in your face just depending on how you pick.

The Handle is one of the very few guitars that is pushing me into a new direction and is inspiring me to come up with new sounds. I am blasted!

I will come up with a few videos later and here are some pictures in the meanwhile!

Totally wild looking guitar, Dennis! I'd love to hear that thing in person!

Is it heavy? The hardware looks awesome, like the knobs and the pickguard section under the strings, too cool. Between that and your Teuffel you have a couple of the wildest guitars I've seen. (You should post pics of that sucker too, it's just as wild)

Might want to look into fixing the holes in your guitar, Kayzer.

Interesting that the output jack is on the back of the guitar. Still looks like it's a bit heavy, but if you're doing the brütals, then it might be too light.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?
