Thanks! Umm the volume on the Orion gets pretty overdriven so you can get pretty crunchy reverb. The mix goes full wet I'm pretty sure. The dwell doesn't oscillate at its highet setting but it goes fairly long. So it kinda goes wild but not really enough that I'd recommend it for that sort of thing, it can go Fender Tank deep but no more. It's also quite hard to make it do that crashy reverb spring by kicking it which I did not expect. It won't do it from stomping the switch.skullservant wrote:This is perfect. Can the Orion do extreme stuff?tommasters wrote:
I'm not really using fuzz so much anymore. I find the echo dream to be the perfect pedal for like a dirty mild delay or a huge fuzz by changing the mix. The Orion is great too just got it today just really nice sounding
I was going to run a Super Hard On after it but the actual volume boost is like crunch overdrive and meant I saw no need for it. It would be nice to be able to go a bit bassier on the tone knob though it's kind of bright with single coils (gold foils which are bright with everything)neonblack wrote:Fuuuuuuuck I would love to rock that. I want an Orion real bad. Is it $400 good?
I would absolutely run my Mini after it though.
x10, really rad selections, dude.resincum wrote:that's like ... perfect

So I don't play out unfortunately. I simply don't have time at the moment. If I did however, I'd slim down to the very bare essentials.PanicProne wrote:Jwar. Don't know what's best, your boards or the meme based replies they generate!jwar wrote:Posted this on Instagram and figured I'd post it here.
Second full board. Most Mountainking.
Either way, nice! You've probably been through it before, but is there a concept behind each board (other than just "awesome sounds")"? Do you use them one at a time mostly or both together all the time? Also, is there a specific combo or pairing that you tend to get back to? Do you gig with these btw or are they home or rehearsal "only" boards?
