Sudden urge to sell all my Fenders for Gibsons. I also want an el34 based amp that I can Slave my boogie to for a little different flavor. And a Hex Amps Giant Killer for the lone Eminence Swamp Thang that I have. Fuck wants.

Andrew I don't know one les Paul from another but it looks like the one Arvid, the other guitarist in my band has. It rules a lot.
Stupid flanger thread has me gassing for that Ada flanger.
And Chanks' other thread about multiples of pedals has me gassing for pretty much all of my own pedals haha!

What if I didn't gel with my BitQuest? I'm I booted off of ILF? Admittedly I didn't spend too much time with it. Need to fart around some more.
What if I am still gassing hard for a Gibby? As in I should buy a Les Paul and an SG? Am I a bad, bad man? It might happen. Friggin' a rights.

You should get an Ampeg Scrambler clone too, goroth, if you don't already have one.

I know one other dude that didn't love it. Must be a genetic defect...

I liked it, but it just didn't gel with my *vague latin word that seems to explain what I'm talking about, but actually doesn't*.

You know what Chanks? I've never scrambled!
fairly certain Fredric effects offers a clone-ish thing. All of his stuff is total gas-worthy.

I've got both versions that Tim builds, I like the Utility Perk a little bit better.

Thanks chank.
All this talk of octave fuzz makes me want another superfuzz AND a scrambler.
Actually, GASing for speakers.
Want those Weber tone cvlt thingos, but probably can't afford them anytime soon.
I want like, six of them.
Then I'll need like three fifteens.

The rule of Bitquest is you use one setting to death, then move onto another. It's the swiss knife of pedals.

And don't forget the dirty side! It can be easy to get your head around, and the gain on the dirt goes really low, so you can get some great slightly growly effects. Slightly dirty flanger is so good, and tbh I think it is dialled in perfectly - I can never quite get the clean flanger to sound as awesome haha. But that is not a limit of the clean side, it's just Ryan has a better ear than me when it comes to flanging haha!
Same thing with the delay - slightly more gritty delay is just great and sits very nicely in a mix.
If you have any specific BQ questions ask in the dr sci thread.
For example, the modulation on the delay sounds weird or not at all at higher delay settings, simply because it can't modulate beyond the max delay time. So if you want to work out what the mod does there then it's easiest to set the delay time to around a half second.
Stuff like that just takes time to work out.
