Shiv combo gas is super high right now. Seems like the perfect way to get a great my slightly dirty sounds with the mellower group and then bring an extension can for the heavier (but not full on doom room excess) group.

My Mother wait is a little past the halfway point and the anticipation is starting to kill me.

Almost had Alex modify it by making it 2ohm but it would add to the wait time and I don't think I would need 2ohms anytime soon. But it can be done if anyone was wondering.

Ugh that sounds so great. I realistically probably won't do it unless I get a raise. We're saving for a trip to Brooklyn and it's kind of the same "fun savings" budget.

That's good to know. Idk why I would ever try to drive more than my 8x10 with my Mother but 2 ohm opportunities do present themselves from time to time.

So I think I want to start saving for a Mother or Sister; I could ditch a few amps to use it with guitar and bass, though I'm mainly a guitarist. Could a Mesa Boogie 4x12 handle the Mother on guitar? Or is the 200w going to crush my cab and I should probably go with the Sister?

Depends on your speakers. Mesa made lots of cabs with lots of speakers.
